Q: What is a Sight Running Hong Kong tour?A: It is a guided sightseeing tour on the run, literally! Your experienced friendly local guide will jog with you through the streets of Dublin allowing you to experience up close the cultural, historical and architectural highlights of our city.

Q: How much does a tour cost?A: HKD$268 for one runner. HKD$398 for two runners if booked in together. Thereafter it is an extra $150 per additional runner if booked in as part of a group.

Q: How do I book and pay for a tour?A: Just fill in the Booking form in the Bookings page and we will send you a PayPal Email payment request. We use PayPal Email Payments for a quick and secure way to request payment from you and accept credit cards/debit cards and also PayPal payments online for those who have PayPal accounts already set up. However, you don’t need a PayPal account— you can click on the link in our email confirming the booking and pay with your credit card/debit card. After receipt of the payment, we will send you a confirmation e-mail of the run date and other useful information.

Q: What if I cancel my booking?A: To cancel your booking please contact us via e-mail at least 72 hours before your run is scheduled. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the tour will waive any entitlement to a refund.

Q: I want to see something that isn’t in your tours – is this possible?A: Yes! Simply contact us with your requirements and we will plan a suitable Customised Tour with you. We are always happy to tailor-make specific runs, whether this is a personal session or a longer sightseeing run route.

Q: What will I need?A: You will need your running/jogging gear, a good pair of running shoes/sneakers and the right running clothing depending on the day’s weather. After that you are good to go.

Q: Do I have to be a top runner to go on a Sight Running Hong Kong tour?A: Absolutely not. We are not expecting Olympic athletes, our tours are for those who get a kick out of exercise. Participants will need however to be physically fit. Our Sightrunning Hong Kong guides are experienced joggers, and they will adopt their running speed to your physical condition. When making your booking, please confirm whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced runner. This will assist us in allocating groups.

Q: What are the advantages of Sight Jogging Hong Kong over normal sightseeing tours?A: Our groups are small and intimate and our guides give the personal attention you can’t get with a recorded voice! You get a great first hand view of the city. No need for you to carry maps, we’ve done the research so you don’t have to and we communicate it to you within approximately an hour, leaving you with the confidence to explore your new surroundings afterwards. And hey guess what?? Unlike a lot of the other fun to be held in Hong Kong, this is good for your health!

Q: How well do the Sight Running Hong Kong guides know Hong Kong?A: All our guides are local and besides the well known historical and cultural facts, they will give you little gems of information that you won’t find in a guide book, like the best restaurants at the best price, a good spot for shopping, the best museums or where to chill out or listen to Hong Kong's up and coming bands.

Q: Are there any age restrictions?A: You must be at least 13 years of age to go on a Sight Jogging Dublin tour.

Q: Do I need to sign a disclaimer?A: Yes, before the start of your Sight Running Hong Kong tour/as part of our booking process, you will be required to tick a box in our Bookings page indicating acceptance of our Terms and Conditions which include a disclaimer. This is required as some of the tours will pass roads and busy traffic but principally because sight jogging is a physical activity, it can be hazardous. You must certify that you accept all of the risks and will not hold Sight Running Hong Kong liable for any eventuality.

Q: How long do Sight Running Hong Kong tours last?A: The time taken to complete each tour depends on the pace at which the group goes, but generally each Sight Running Hong Kong tour takes approximately 1.5-2 hour.

Q: What do I do with my belongings while running?A: We encourage sight runners to bring with them the bare essentials which they can carry personally. Our guides are not camels and will be unable to carry items for you.

Q: Will there be anything to drink?A: There will be water station along the route. However, you are responsible for carrying the water during the run. Our guide will stop by convenient stores if you need to purchase water.

Q: How fit do I have to be for the tour?A: The basic requirement for the tours is of course that you are fit and well on the day. You control the pace and if necessary, the breaks when you run. Your Sightrunning Hong Kong guide adjusts to your running style. Part of the reason for your run is to contribute to your well being, not for making you breathless.
